Kim Kardashian has received a warning from animal advocacy group PETA after sharing a video of her dogs seemingly being kept in a pen in her garage.
The reality star, 42, shared the now deleted clip on TikTok. It showed her two Pomeranians trotting around a cage which contained a couple of beds, food bowls, puppy pads and Christmas decorations.
The video was captioned: "Christmas for the dogs."
After the video, PETA has said it's concerned for the animals and is "hoping hard" that Kim has alternative arrangements for her pets.
"Knowing that Kim Kardashian is anti-fur and mostly vegan, we are hoping hard that she does not relegate her dogs to life in a garage," PETA senior vice president Lisa Lange has said.
She told Page Six : "What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings.
"They deserve to feel safe, loved, and to live inside the house as part of the family."
Kim's video was reposted by another TikTok user who wrote in the caption: "I wonder why they deleted it…"
Over the top of the clip, the user had written: "This video was deleted from North's account. Is it because Kim Kardashian doesn't want people to think they keep their dogs in the garage?"
Many people weighed in with their opinions, with some believing the dogs deserved more than to be kept in the garage.
One person wrote: "I’m sorry but imagine having a 2000sq+ MANSION and ur dog just gets the garage LMAO."
Another questioned: "They don't have a spare room to deck out into a dog room?"
"Nobody’s saying their freezing, ofc her garage is heated. The issue is - she clearly doesn’t like them. Keeps them penned & away from the main house," someone else added.
Other viewers stuck up for the Kardashian star, with one person reasoning: "The hills in LA have hella coyotes, at least they’re safe inside lol."
Another joked: "Tbh id love to live in Kim’s garage too," with a third commenting: "I'm sure that garage is heated, they're fine."
"It’s probably just for overnight. A lot of people does this, trainers too. They look comfortable and are safe from coyotes," penned another.
