Kim Kardashian has admitted she is no longer on speaking terms with her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West.
The reality TV veteran, 41, has also revealed she and the Grammy award-winning rapper once went eight months without speaking at one point during their ongoing divorce saga.
Kim, who shares children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with Kanye, filed for divorce from the artist legally known as Ye in February 2021, after nearly seven years of marriage.
Although their split seemingly began on amicable terms - with Kim even 'remarrying' her ex on stage in August 2021 - thanks to Kanye's concerning social media posts and public outbursts over recent months, things have taken a more dramatic turn.
Kim - who is currently loved up with Pete Davidson - opened up about their strained relationship during Tuesday's episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch.
"Right now it's good when things are calm, we don't really communicate, but I think that's okay sometimes," the SKIMS founder admitted during the candid chat.
"We will. We always will. That's just who I am."
The aspiring lawyer went on to confess she will always have "so much love" for her former partner, despite their current situation.
"I spent a decade of my life with this person, and I just have so much love for him. So that'll never change, but it doesn't mean that they're the right one for you and that's okay too," Kim explained to Amanda.
The mum-of-four also shared that she and Kanye "went about eight months without even speaking to each other at the beginning of the divorce".
After the admission, Kim continued: "Then we started talking again, and I went to the Donda premiere. I mean, he would still see the kids and stuff.
"Him and I just took a minute of not talking, and I think in relationships it'll be like that. I only hope for – I hope we are the co-parenting goals at the end of the day."
This isn't the first time the aspiring lawyer has opened up about how she and her ex maintain a healthy relationship for their four children.
Over recent months, Kanye has sparked controversary thanks to his multiple Instagram outbursts, dissing Kim's current beau Pete in new songs, and even depicting 'killing' a Claymation version of the Saturday Night Live comic in one of his music videos.
Speaking to Vogue in February this year, Kim stressed the importance of keeping things positive in front of their children - despite whatever is happening between her and Kanye.
"Make sure you are your co-parent's biggest cheerleader, no matter what you're personally going through," the reality TV star maturely stated during her cover star interview.
