Kim Kardashian mum-shamed for 'saving' racy two-piece for North and Chicago's prom

Kim Kardashian has revealed her daughters North and Chicago West won't have to worry about finding a prom dress as they'll have plenty of designer hand-me-downs to choose from.

The 42-year-old has added her bedazzled red Dolce & Gabbana bra top and matching skirt to her fashion archives and said she hopes her kids will wear it "to a formal dance at school".

"It will go in my Dolce & Gabbana archive that I hope my kids want to wear one day.

"I hope North and Chicago, they can wear this to prom, they can wear this to a formal dance at school," Kim said in a TikTok video shared by Vogue.

However, the Kardashians star has been called out by fans for considering such a racy outfit for a school event.

One person questioned: "To PROM?! In what universe?!"

"Prom!?! Formal event!?" another echoed, with a third person commenting: "To PROM or a FORMAL.. REALLY!"

One fan pointed out: "North will never wear a dress," while another added: "To Prom someone help Kim plz."

However, some fans jumped to Kim's defence, with one person commenting: "North will be prom queen!"

"This dress would be perfect for PROM!! You look STUNNING Kimberly," another fan said. Someone else wrote: "It’s so sweet how she always thinks of her kids."

In the video, Kim explained that she doesn't mind where her children wear her clothes.

"They can wear it wherever they want, they can wear it on a night out clubbing, I'm not going to be stingy with my Dolce archive," Kim said.

She also showed off a mini red purse which has been created to match the outfit.

The reality star said: "I know that my girls will try to steal this purse and I have different versions of it."

Speaking about attending fashion shows, she added: "There’s always little gifts and I can go home with them and look like the best mom ever."

Kim previously revealed nine-year-old North has already got her eye on one of her mum's outfits to wear to prom.

Back in 2018, Kim appeared on Ashley Graham's podcast and said the youngster has already asked to borrow her gold Versace dress from that year's Met Gala.
