Lawyer, mother, shapewear entrepreneur, reality TV star and now… wedding officiator? This week Kim Kardashian added another bow to her billionaire string when she oversaw the marriage of her hairdresser, Chris Appleton, and his The White Lotus star husband, Lukas Gage.
Taking place at the same Las Vegas church where Kravis (aka sister Kourtney Kardashian and drummer Travis Barker) got married in 2022, the reality TV star donned a tight black leather corseted dress to wed the two grooms, who were also in matching leather trousers and black fur coats.
Kardashian was one of only six guests present at the ceremony, which also included singer Shania Twain (who serenaded the couple with a rendition of her hit 1997 “You’re Still the One”) and Appleton’s two children, 19-year-old son Billy and 17-year-old daughter Kitty-blu.
“We did it! Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain!” Appleton captioned an Instagram dump of the wedding yesterday.
The shotgun wedding comes after the Skims founder said, “so happy he’s in a relationship right now and that it’s, like, out there,” during the hair stylist’s acceptance speech for “hair artist of the year” at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards last Sunday. “I’m so tired of all my girlfriends and guy friends asking me if you’re available and who my hot guy is who is always with me,” she added, with Appleton confirming that he is a “taken man”.
The two first soft launched their relationship back in February after they both posted joint holiday pictures to Instagram and left a trail of flirty comments across each other’s profiles. “I feel very happy, very lucky and very much in love,” Gage said during an interview on Today in March. “He’s a good looking man.”
While Appleton told Drew Barrymore on her eponymous show earlier this year that he was, “very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special.”
