Kim Kardashian hints upcoming American Horror Story series will be 'so scary'

Kim Kardashian has teased the upcoming series of American Horror Story that she's set to star in.

Back in April, the reality TV star revealed that she would be a cast member on the twelth season of the acclaimed anthology show, which has since begun filming.

She is set to lead the season alongside returning cast member Emma Roberts, 32 - who's been in five previous seasons of AHS, which was co-created by Ryan Murphy.

Speaking to her fans on a Twitter Q&A, Kim said: “It’s gonna be gooooooodddd!!!! And scary!"

She then added that being involved in the project was "the most fun" and that she was "having the best time."

Kim said the series will be "so good and scary" (E!)

The new season of AHS is said to be based on the author Danielle Valentine's upcoming novel Delicate Condition, which is expected to be released in the coming months.

The Hollywood Reporter said the source material is about a woman who becomes convinced that a "sinister figure" is trying to "make sure her pregnancy never happens."

Kim's colleague Zachary Quinto said that he was "really impressed" by Kim's acting.

The 46-year-old - who appeared in three previous seasons of the show - announced that he will make a "cameo" in the upcoming season and discussed new co-star at the premiere for his latest film He Went That Way at the Tribeca Film Festival.

He told People magazine that he got to meet Kim as he had a "cameo" on the new season. He said: "She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don't think she needs my advice."

Zachary further commented about her: "She seemed really in her element, and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness. I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she's gonna do a wonderful job".
