Kim Kardashian has revealed that she gifts her four children the same thing every year for their birthdays.
The reality star and SKIMS founder is a doting mother to North, nine, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and Psalm, four, who she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.
And speaking on the latest episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, the 42 year old revealed that she gives each of her children a four or five-page letter chronicling the significant milestones of their year.
"It's so fun to see from the first year now," the lawyer-in-training revealed. "One of 'em is almost ten years old. And I know that they'll appreciate this."
As well as a recap from their year, the letters also include "who their friends are, silly words they're saying, their favourite foods, all the silly things they do and a little journey of what the year is like."
Noting that it was satisfying to see each child's letter pile grow, Kim added: "I know that they'll appreciate everything, even if they might have thought I was being a little harsh on them.
"I know that they'll get it because I got it with my mom. I know they'll get it with me."
While she is keen to note all the fond memories she shares with her children, the businesswoman admitted on the same podcast that being a single mother to four children was so difficult at times that she cried herself to sleep.
"Mom guilt is probably the hardest thing," the Kardashians star told host Jay.
"You feel like the worst mom if something's going on and you can't fix it, you have no idea how to change it, your kids are fighting, whatever it is.
"My friends and I will text each other and be like in tears, literally locking ourselves in the room away from a kid having a tantrum when that's not what you should do.
"You should go and lean into them, but sometimes it's so overwhelming."
Despite her comments, Kim was criticised for complaining about parenting and told to "get a reality check" by people online.
"She's trying to be 'relatable' with the peasants, but I'm sure every mother on earth wish they had private chefs and maids to do dishes and laundry for you like she does," one fan said on Reddit.
"Pretending she does anything around her mansion with staff on call for everything is ridiculous," another added.
Kim's divorce from 45 year old rapper Kanye West was finalised six months ago.
The musician has since moved on from his relationship with Kim and married Yeezy architect Bianca Censori in an intimate ceremony back in January.
