Kim Kardashian has admitted she fears her anti-wrinkle treatments might hinder her aspirations of becoming a serious actor.
The 43-year-old has undergone Botox treatments, which restrict her ability to make certain facial expressions by blocking nerve signals to specific muscles.
Kardashian, who impressed audiences with her performance in season 12 of American Horror Story, expressed her desire to act in one film per year for the next decade.
However, she acknowledged that she needs "more emotion" in her face if she wants achieve it.
The SKIMS founder disclosed that she sold a comedy film, The Fifth Wheel, to Netflix after pitching the concept to various studios with writers Paula Pell and Janine Brito on the latest installment of her family’s reality TV series, The Kardashians.
Kardashian, who will produce and star in the upcoming comedy, described the movie as a blend of The Hangover, Bridesmaids, and First Wives Club.
“Now the pressure’s on because I’m like, ‘Oh s***, this is happening,’ I’m tripping the f*** out low key because I have to really do this and I have to deliver,” she said.
Kardashian expressed concern about fitting a film into her already hectic schedule, joking that she might have to “give up” sleeping.
However, she also emphasised that she is not willing to gain weight or get any wrinkles in her pursuit of a Hollywood career.
She shared on the Disney+ series: “I’ve got about 10 years where I still look good. So, that’s all I’ve got in me and then I’ll take some time off... that’s my 10 year plan.
“I feel like you need less Botox for more emotion, and I don’t have it. I’m not going to be gaining 500lbs for a role. That’s not where I need to be.”
She added: “How am I gonna cry? How am I gonna be scared out of my mind?”
Kardashian won rave reviews for her portrayal in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story in which she played the ruthless Hollywood agent to Emma Roberts’ character.
