Kim Kardashian called out for 'random and unnecessary' Photoshop edits

Kim Kardashian has been caught Photoshopping her Instagram snaps again.

The reality star - who is notorious for editing her social media uploads - has been called out by her fans for the "unnecessary" and "random" edits she made to a paparazzi picture from Pharrell Williams’ debut fashion show for Louis Vuitton which she attended earlier this month.

Kim was one of the many famous faces to attend Pharrell's first LV fashion show, which comes just months after the Happy singer was announced as creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear back in February.

She was hailed as a "Minecraft baddie" as she wore a pixelated khaki, beige and brown crop top and matching leggings to the event as she posed for cameras and shared the snaps on her Instagram.

However, an Instagram account called @ProblematicFame exposed Kim's Photoshop edits on the seemingly natural post. In a short clip, the user switched between the original Getty photo and Kim's upload, displaying the now-noticeable edits.

They added the caption: " Kim Kardashian ’s recent Photoshop. Kim photoshops and posts publicly available content (such as photoshoots and event photos) so it is very easy to find the original and compare.

"Kim tends to Photoshop her stomach, waist, arms, armpits, breasts, shoulders, jaw, chin, nasolabial folds, nose, lips, eyes, and skin texture," they added.

"Please don’t send any hate to Kim, she looks gorgeous without the Photoshop. Keep the comments respectful."

Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on Kim's edits, with one slamming the retouches as "random" and "so unnecessary."

"She was naturally pretty, and yes, she’s still pretty but she has completely changed the perception an entire generation of young girls and women have of themselves by using smoke and mirrors and claiming au naturale. And she’s STILL doing it!" another put.

A third added: "I don’t even know which one’s the Photoshopped version to be honest, completely random and unnecessary edits."

"Imagine spending all that money in surgeries, all that dieting and time in the gym, and STILL not being happy with yourself," a fourth typed.
