Kim Kardashian is absolutely furious with ex-husband Kanye West after he mocked her reported break-up with Pete Davidson with an 'appalling' meme, it has been claimed.
The couple are said to have called it a day on their relationship due to Kim's commitments to motherhood and the distance between them. The pair were first linked back in October when Kim, 41, made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, writes The Mirror.
But reports have surfaced that their nine-month romance is over - and ex Kayne posted picture of a newspaper on his Instagram page, supposedly ridiculing the split. He uploaded a strange image of the New York Times with the made-up headline ‘Skete Davidson dead at age 28’ splashed across it.
Kim and Pete, 28, decided to just be friends because of the long distance and their hectic schedules, it has been said. But her former husband seemingly couldn't resist a poke.
Kanye's post, it is claimed, got under Kim's skin as the tension rises between the two stars again. "Kim won’t stand for this - she is demanding that Kanye take the post down, but he won’t," a source close to Kim told DailyMail.com.
"She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects. "She has tried incredibly hard to have a good co-parenting situation for the children.
"She won’t stand for this type of behaviour from him." According to another source, Kim couldn't be as spontaneous in the relationship as Pete due to her children and it was part of the reason why things crumbled.
"Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment," the insider revealed. "Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice.
"Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids," they added to Page Six. Kanye's reaction seems to have poured cold water over speculation that he is said to be gearing up to win back the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
The Runaway rapper was married to Kim in 2014 but they split in 2021 and had their divorce finalised earlier this year. A source told The Sun on Sunday: "This split is only driving Kanye to push harder to win Kim back and have her call off their divorce.
"For months he told his wife that she and Pete were not destined to last. "And while Kanye was not Pete’s biggest fan, he focused in recent weeks on showing Kim that they were compatible and a solid family.”
