Kim Kardashian blasted by F1 fans for 'lack of class' after awkward encounter at Monaco Grand Prix

Kim Kardashian has been blasted by F1 fans on social media for a “lack of class” after an awkward encounter with a reporter at the Monaco Grand Prix.

She was there to support her new boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and was joined by sister Khloe and a large entourage.

However, she gave iconic broadcaster Martin Brundle short shrift during his pre-race grid walk segment.

Brundle, known for walking up and down the grid in the moments before the race looking for celebrities and drivers to interview, spotted Kim on the grid and tried to get a few words while on live TV.

He enquired: "Kim, Martin Brundle from Sky F1, how are you today?", but was met with icy silence, receiving just a brief smile before Kim swiftly turned away.

She then leaned towards one of her bodyguards, who whispered something into her ear, as Brundle could be heard warning one of the other security staff: "No, you don't need to push me mate."

The moment sparked anger and ridicule on social media among many fans watching at home.

One wrote: “Kim Kardashian is not too good to talk to Martin Brundle. What a complete lack of class,” with another adding “It's just pure arrogance.”

A third commenter said: “Famous for absolutely nothing, can't carry an umbrella herself and she ignores Martin when talented sports persons and international actors embrace him. She has no place on our grid.”

Kim was wearing a chic cream dress and sky high heels while cheering on Hamilton on Sunday, matching her sister in their neutral looks, with Khloe dressed in a lace-trimmed slip dress and a white waistcoat.

Kardashian and Hamilton went public with their romance at the Super Bowl in February before posting pictures of each other on Instagram.
