Kilwinning is set to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a special crowning of its own.
This town's Segdoune Gala celebrations will tie in with a special Jubilee street party on Thursday, June 2.
The Main Street extravaganza will feature live stage acts, a funfair, community stalls and the traditonal summer crowning of the Segdoune Queen.
Pennyburn Primary School pupil Willow Travers has been chosen as this year’s Segdoune Queen with Marcie Napier from Blacklands Primary confirmed as Depute Queen.
The rest of the Segdoune royal party is: Mia Davis (St Winnings Primary); David McCormick (Corsehill Primary); Sophia McDonald (Abbey Primary); Ryan Patterson (St Lukes Primary) and Isla Preston (Whitehirst Park Primary).
Candidates were chosen from primary six classes across the town.
Organisers Promoting Kilwinning have teamed up with Kilwinning Community Events, local businesses, Royal British Legion Scotland (Kilwinning branch), Kilwinning Heritage, Kilwinning Community Council and Equal to stage the event.
A spokesperson said: "We look forward to seeing everyone at the Platinum Jubilee Event."
