Kilmarnock town centre has been shut down by a huge emergency response this evening.
Police, fire crews and ambulances have been called to the town's one-way system with traffic being heavily impacted by the incident.
Mercy crews have focused their attention at a scene between the Salvation Army and the Palace Theatre.
It's not yet known what the nature of the incident is.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
