Airdrieonians have announced the signing of midfielder Justin Devenny.
The 18-year-old spent time on loan at the Diamonds from Kilmarnock in the second half of last season and has now made a permanent switch to Airdrie after he was released by the Scottish Premiership side.
Last season Devenny made two starts and eight appearances from the bench under then boss Ian Murray.
And new player-boss Rhys McCabe has acted quickly to get the teenager back involved.
Devenny told the Airdrie website: "I’m delighted to be here.
“I really enjoyed last year, and I’m hoping to come in this year and just show a wee bit more.
“I’d have liked to have played more, but hopefully this is the year that I’ll go and kick on.”
Gaffer McCabe added: "Justin’s a good young player with a really good attitude - we really liked him.
“We’re all hoping he can make that next step and work his way into the team.”
Devenny's arrival comes hot of the heels of striker Gabby McGill penning a one-year extension.
Since taking the reins last month, McCabe has also signed defender Cammy Ballantyne from Montrose and brought back goalkeeper David Hutton in a player/coach role.
