Kilmacud Crokes' third All-Ireland SFC title win is in doubt as Glen seek "clarification" on whether the Dublin club had an extra man on the pitch during the final play of the game.
Throughout the game, both teams had the lead in parts, and as the final few minutes approached, the match still hung in the balance. Kilmacud were under a lot of pressure from Glen in the closing stages, as their victory was made possible by a stunning Conor Ferris save at the very end.
However, it has seemingly come to light that the champions appeared to have an additional player on the field for the final moments of the game. And GAA pundit Joe Brolly has called for a replay of the game due to the breach of one of the game's most "fundamental" rules - each team having 15 players on the pitch.

Not long after the final whistle, images surfaced on social media which showed Kilmacud had an extra player on the pitch. A player that was supposed to come off as a Kilmacud substitute came on did not leave the pitch, it has been reported.
Now, Glen Chairman Barry Slowey said they will "seek clarification from the GAA". He said: "The club have been made aware that potentially a rule has been broken."
Glen manager Malachy O'Rourke told BBC Sport Northern Ireland he believed the Crokes had an extra man on the pitch. He said: "It shouldn't have happened.
"I can't obviously be sure on this but we felt for the last 45 when everybody was packed into the goalmouth that they had 16 players on the field and it was sort of brushed aside a wee bit. We felt that we should have got the last 45 again.
"That would have been the very least that we would have been looking. I was asked inside [during the post-match new conference] if the club will be putting in an appeal or anything like that."
He added: "I can't speak for the club but at this juncture I just feel we lost the game and that's the way it will be."
