A killer couple asked questions about what was for Christmas Day lunch at a family get together hours after murdering their 10-month-old son.
Shannon Marsden, 22, and Stephen Boden, 30, subjected Finley Boden, to “appalling” abuse before his death on Christmas Day 2020.
Both were convicted of murder at a trial at Derby Crown Court, with prosecutor Mary Prior KC telling the jury the pair were “in it together”, repeatedly lying to hide their abuse from the police, social services and their own families.
