Despite the ongoing legal matter, he expressed gratitude for being able to make it home to Atlanta in time for his son's kidney transplant surgery.
While Killer Mike couldn't provide many details about the incident, he acknowledged that backstage was crowded, emotions were running high among the winners, and security may have become overzealous. However, he chose to view the incident as 'water under the bridge,' drawing inspiration from the likes of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela, who he mentioned as his heroes.
