Killer driver given chance to avoid more jail time

Killer driver Thomas Towle has been given a chance to avoid more time behind bars after driving unlicensed while high on drugs.

Towle, who was jailed for 10 years after killing six teenagers in a hit-run in 2006, pleaded guilty in Bendigo Magistrates Court on Thursday to two new charges.
