A woman who admitted violent disorder has become the latest person to appear in court in relation to the Bristol riots. Avon and Somerset Police continue their investigation after a peaceful protest erupted into violence in March 2021 including damage to Bridewell Police Station.
Rose Lazarus, 21, of Salisbury in Wiltshire, appeared in Bristol Crown Court on Thursday (June 30) and admitted a charge of violent disorder. She was released on bail and will return to the same court on August 8 for sentencing

On Wednesday (June 29), Henry Olohan, 24, of Montpelier, appeared at Bristol Crown Court. He admitted charges of affray and criminal damage on what would have been the first day of his trial.
Olohan has been released on conditional bail to attend the same court on July 28 where he will receive his sentence. A total of 18 people have been jailed for offences committed during the riot and bringing the combined prison sentence across all those in prison to 71 years and three months.
