Kilkenny hurling captain Richie Reid and his long term girlfriend Sabrina Cantwell are engaged.
RSVP Live report the GAA star popped the question during a romantic holiday around Europe earlier this month.
The happy news came after The Cats were beaten by Limerick in a thrilling All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final in Croke Park back in July.

Following his proposal, Richie shared a number of pictures from their sun filled trip as Sabrina flashed her engagement ring.
He revealed that they travelled to Venice, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Santorini and Split together. Sharing that they were engaged, the Kilkenny man simple said "job done" alongside an emoji of an engagement ring.
As expected, a number of familiar faces shared their well-wishes with the Kilkenny star.
His teammate Walter Walsh said: "A boy Richie - congratulations to you both."
Ger Aylward joked: "Congrats pants n sabby."
Niamh De Brun said: "So happy for you both."
Richie first shared a snapshot with Tipperary native Sabrina in July 2018 as they confirmed their relationship online. Sabrina also has a 15-year-old son, who is also big into his sport.
Richie has had a stellar sporting career, playing for the Kilkenny minors and under-21s before moving up to the senior team under manager Brian Cody during the 2014 season.
Over the years, Richie has won two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championships in 2014, 2015 and five Leinster Senior Hurling Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2021
He also won National Hurling League medals in 2014, 2018 and 2021.
His club side of Ballyhale Shamrocks have won four All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championships while he was playing as well as numerous Leinster and Kilkenny Senior Club Hurling Championships.
Richie's brother, TJ Reid, got married in a stunning Adare Manor wedding to digital content creator Niamh De Brún last November.
