Arsenal icon Emmanuel Frimpong has told Gunners fans that Kieran Tierney would 'love a move' to Newcastle United in the coming months - with Oleksandr Zinchenko's incredible form keeping him out of the side.
Tierney moved to north London in 2019 under the guidance of Unai Emery, and has forged a successful career at the Emirates Stadium so far, winning an FA Cup in 2020 and featuring in the Europa League semi-finals. But with the Gunners top of the Premier League so far this season, all but four of Tierney's 17 Premier League appearances during their title charge have come from the bench.
With Zinchenko playing the best football of his career so far and fitting like a glove into Mikel Arteta's plans, Tierney's hopes of maintaining his place as Arsenal's first-choice left-back seem numbered. He has been linked with a move away from the table toppers over the past few months - and with rumours of a move to money-laden Newcastle picking up in recent weeks, the Scot has been given a glowing recommendation of the Magpies - by Arsenal icon and funnyman Frimpong.
