Kieran Tierney in Arsenal bust-up as former Celtic defender offers out Watford star following on-pitch clash

Kieran Tierney is the centre of a bust-up south of the border after reportedly offering to meet Watford's Chucho Hernandez 'outside' after Arsenal 's 3-2 win over the Hornets.

Tierney and his Gunners teammates emerged the victors from the Premier League match at Vicarage Road winners and moved back into fourth, a Champions League spot.

The former Celtic left-back wore the captain's armband for the final 11 minutes and appeared in a fiery mood when locked in battle.

After one Watford attack, the man from Muirhouse walked over to the touchline to take a throw-in. Tierney was in no rush to take the throw and Hernandez flung the ball at the defender to hurry things along.

Tierney dropped to the floor and this only served to anger Hernandez further, with his Watford teammates trying franticly to calm him down.

It was here, according to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal's stand-in skipper offered to meet his foe 'outside' post-match. Hernandez was booked for his actions.

Arsenal did their talking on the park at Vicarage Road. Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli goals cancelled out strikes by Hernandez and Moussa Sissoko
