Kieran Salkeld will appear in crown court next month after being charged with attempted wounding.
The 28-year-old appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court on Monday (January 9), charged with attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray. The charge relates to an incident at the junction of Bedford Road and Highfield Road in Rock Ferry on December 23, 2022.
Salkeld, dressed in a grey Nike tracksuit, spoke to confirm his name and address. The hearing lasted under 10 minutes.

Ged Nolan, representing Salkeld, told the court he would not make an application for bail. Salkeld, of Enerby Close, Beechwood, Wirral, will remain on remand and will appear before the crown court on February 3.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We have charged a 28-year-old man with attempted s18 wounding and affray.
"The charges relate to an incident at the junction of Bedford Road and Highfield Road in Rock Ferry on Friday 23rd December 2022."
