Police have today named a suspect after an incident in Rock Ferry.
Kieran Salkeld has been charged with attempted s18 wounding and affray after an incident on Friday, December 23. Merseyside Police said that the charge is in connection to an incident that happened at the junction of Bedford Road and Highfield Road in Rock Ferry, Wirral.
The 28-year-old, of Enerby Close, Beechwood, was arrested and then later charged. Salkeld will now appear in Wirral adult remand court today, on Monday, January 9.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We have charged a 28-year-old man with attempted s18 wounding and affray. The charges relate to an incident at the junction of Bedford Road and Highfield Road in Rock Ferry on Friday 23rd December 2022.
"Kieran Salkeld, of Enerby Close, Beechwood, Wirral, was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral adult remand court today, Monday 9th January."
