Kieran Dowell has passed a medical at Rangers and agreed a free transfer from Norwich City, according to a report.
Michael Beale is set for a big summer of activity as he puts his own stamp on his Light Blues squad. That process started back in January with the captures of Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin and it appears midfielder Dowell will become his third addition since taking over at Ibrox and his first of his recruitment drive.
The Daily Record report that the 25-year-old has already met with his new boss and is very keen to be part of the new-look Light Blues team next season. A medical is reported to have already taken place and a three-year deal agreed when his deal at Carrow Road expires. Beale has already been linked with a number of names this summer including Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland - currently on loan at Manchester United - and Swansea City attacker Morgan Whittaker, who he failed to land as part of his January plans.

A number of key decisions in the shape of out of contract stars at the club are yet to be confirmed either way with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Steven Davis, Allan McGregor, Ryan Jack and Filip Helander in the final weeks of current terms.
The Rangers boss hopes to have fresh faces in the door for the first day of pre-season training as he looks to get the bulk of his business done before the Champions League qualifying bid kicks-off.
It looks increasingly likely this is the route - similar to last season - that the Ibrox men will need to take to reach the lucrative group stages once again with Celtic 13 points clear at the Premiership summit with just 15 points left to play for this term.
