Investigators searching for Truckee teenager Kiely Rodni have released a new image of her Honda vehicle which also remains missing after her disappearance 10 days ago.
The latest image released as part of the search for Kiely comes as Nevada County Sheriff’s Office Captain Sam Brown suggested the search for the missing teenager would begin to wind down on Monday.
Speaking at a press briefing, Mr Brown said the search was beginning to enter a “more limited but continuous search and rescue effort” after more than 9,000 man hours on the search for Kiely, and called on all “eyes and ears” to help.
As well as new information about her car – a silver 2013 Honda CRV – police have released images of two sweatshirts associated with Kiely – one of which she was leant and another she was seen wearing in a video seen by investigators.
Mr Brown said on Sunday that Kiely’s last known cellphone location data placed the teenager next to Prosser Lake at around 12.30am. Her phone went out of service after this time.
Kiely’s mother Lindsey Rodni-Nieman is pleading for information from partygoers, telling The Independent: “We are desperate for any other teens to come out and share the last pieces of the story that nobody seems to be able to piece together.”
