Conor McGregor's recent social media activity has been laughed off by Khamzat Chimaev after the Dubliner posted a video of himself practising a new catchphrase in ten different accents.
The Notorious remains sidelined after breaking his leg last year in a second consecutive defeat by Dustin Poirier, but he is expected to make a comeback next year. McGregor is currently on set in the Dominican Republic where he is filming his part in Jake Gyllenhaal's remake of Road House, reports The Mirror.
In his latest bizarre outburst on social media, McGregor first re-posted of a video of himself flexing his new muscular physique in the mirror, with the caption: "The most power Twitter's ever seen". After almost two million people had seen the upload, he followed up with a voice memo where he appeared to repeat the catchphrase in a range of different voices including one variation of "the most power Twitter's ever laid eyes on".

The social media activity did not end there for McGregor who then went on to share a picture of himself which had a caption naming himself as a self-declared "action star", before telling his audience that he would "box your jaw in at the Box office". He then even issued a response to a fan who asked him if he had been using substances, to which he replied: "Proper Twelve and Forged Irish Stout. Served alongside my own, organically grown, Irish beef, served on a hot stone."
Rising star Chimaev has since reviewed McGregor's behaviour, leaving a comment with a series of laughing emojis under the original post on Instagram. Fans were equally confused by the Dubliner's posts, with one suggesting: "Too much money... and yes men. This man has lost his mind."
Another agreed while attaching similar laughing emojis to Chimaev, writing: "Nah he has to be drunk." One fan went on to blame McGregor's former rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, adding: "Conor definitely has CTE from that mauling he received from Khabib in 2018."
Meanwhile other fans were instead impressed by his acting skills, with one writing: "I think he is working on his skills for his movie." Another added: "This is actually pretty impressive to be fair. Voice acting is decent, fair play." McGregor is currently spending time out of fighting to focus on his new acting career, which will begin with his starring role.
McGregor expressed his delight at receiving the role in a film with his family on social media, with the caption: "Whole crew in tow, the loves of my life! My other two kids are at the beach with Nanny Mandy. God bless Hollywood. I can’t believe they paying me for this, #roadhouse."
