Former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United after making a bold prediction for next season.
The Reds welcomed the return of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner on Deadline Day for the summer transfer window and despite failing to find the back of the net in his recent outings, he has scored 14 goals in all competition for United.
As the season edges towards the business end, question marks emerge surrounding the 37-year-old's stint at Old Trafford, but the unbeaten mixed martial artist hopes he continues with the Reds next season.
"He becomes 37 years old, this is not his best age but how he plays, he affects his whole team with his energy, experience. They have a very good, strong team," he told Sky Sports.

"Next year, I feel they're going do [a] very good job because right now, the new players, they've not connected well but I think next year Manchester United are going to be a big problem for all clubs.
"I'm going to talk with him [ Ronaldo ] because I remember when he moved from Real Madrid, he told me a couple of months before [he left] and before he left Juventus, he told me a couple of months before but I don't go to media, I'm not like a journalist or from Sky Sports.
"I'm going to ask him, I want him to stay, I honestly want it."
