KFC diner called 999 after seeing man with 'screwdriver'

A KFC customer called 999 after seeing a man wielding what he believes was a 'screwdriver' in the fast food restaurant.

Officers from Merseyside Police attended the KFC on Laird Street, Birkenhead, at around 10.50pm on Monday, March 7, following reports of an altercation in the restaurant.

One diner said he saw a man acting in an "aggressive, threatening manner" in the restaurant, saying he saw officers 'disarm' the man.
