Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes are obviously compared for many reasons right now.
But Keyshawn Johnson doesn’t want to hear any of that.
Appearing on Undisputed, Johnson made his feelings on the matter felt quite firmly: “How can you debate that Burrow is better? Patrick Mahomes has two Super Bowls, an MVP, two All-Pros and five Pro Bowls. Joe Burrow has one Pro Bowl.”
The crux of Johnson’s argument was actual accolades achieved so far, while also pointing out that Burrow benefits from having an elite cast of wide receivers around him.
If nothing else, Johnson also got funny and added this: “I’m not saying Joe Burrow’s a slouch. The quarterbacks I played with…I’ll take Joe Burrow’s left arm.”
For what it’s worth, outsider observers can feel however they please when it comes to two of the game’s best passers — Mahomes feels certain ways about the rivalry and Burrow himself has said Mahomes is tops in the league.
