The next phase of roadworks on a main route into Liverpool City Centre will get underway tomorrow.
Liverpool Council has confirmed a three-day road closure will be in place from Millers Bridge (A5058) to Haddock Street from 7am on Wednesday.
The closure is part of a wider scheme to repair Derby Road, also known as the A565, with the route from Millers Bridge to Bank Hall Street closed last weekend.

When the initial works began last weekend, closures took place overnight from 7pm on Friday running through to Sunday February 13, with concerns that there would be disruption to the key route into the city centre.
The road is the main route for people travelling from Bootle and other Sefton areas into Liverpool.
The latest works will go on until Saturday February 19, with city-bound diversions in place via Dock Road or Stanley Road.
Liverpool Council confirmed the news on Twitter, apologising for any inconvenience or delays the road closure may cause.
Local authority officials added that residents and businesses in the area impacted would still be able to gain access during the period the road is closed.
