Nottingham Forest defender Steve Cook will stay at the City Ground today, despite interest from a number of Championship clubs.
The 31 year-old was attracting attention from Stoke City, Luton Town and Blackburn Rovers as the teams circled ahead of a potential deadline day loan move.
It is now being reported by Sky Sports that Cook will be staying put on Trentside today, with the centre-back keen to stay and fight for his place at Forest under head coach Steve Cooper.

Forest are close to signing Atletico Madrid defender Felipe, providing Cook even more competition for his place. But that is competition he seemingly relishes with his decision made today.
Cook has made 12 Premier League appearances for Forest this season, in addition to the 17 times he played in the Championship en route to promotion back to the Premier League.
Despite competition from the likes of Joe Worrall, Scott McKenna, Moussa Niakhate, Willy Boly and now Felipe, Cook must feel he still has a part to play at Forest for the remainder of the season.
