Key matchups for Cardinals vs. 49ers in Week 4

The Arizona Cardinals go on the road this weekend to face the 3-0 San Francisco 49ers, a team that has looked mostly unbeatable. They have scored 30 points in all three games this season and allow only 14 points per game.

They have elite talent at every level of the defense and have elite talent at their skill positions on offense.

Bosa has three career sacks against the Cardinals but two came last year after D.J. Humphries was out with a back injury. Humphries has kept Bosa in check for his career.

But an elite pass rusher against the Cardinals’ starting left tackle? That’s fun.

Also, Bosa will swap sides, so he could be matched up against the rookie in Paris Johnson, who has looked great so far in three games.

Dennis Gardeck/Cameron Thomas/Victor Dimukeje vs. Colton McKivitz

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The 49ers have the best left tackle in the league in Trent Williams, so good luck to Zaven Collins. However, they have some questions at right tackle with McKivitiz, who is a starter following the departure of Mike McGlinchey in free agency.

Gardeck has three sacks this season. Dimukeje has 2.5 and Thomas has none but has played well.

Javon Hargrave vs. Hjalte Froholdt/Elijah Wilkinson

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Hargrave has two sacks and four quarterback hits this season. Froholdt and Wilkinson are the weak spots in the offensive line.

Hollywood Brown vs. Charvarius Ward

 Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Brown has 11 catches for 115 yards over the least two games and has scored in two straight games.
