The majority of Leeds United fans’ patience with Patrick Bamford appears to have finally run out after a succession of injury setbacks for the striker.
Bamford is back in training after his latest setback but has only started four Premier League matches this term, the most recent of which was in October.
The 29-year-old made just seven league starts in the previous campaign and his prolonged absences have persuaded Leeds supporters that now is the time to get shot of the Grantham-born forward.

The former Middlesbrough striker was one of five players who were deemed surplus to requirements at Elland Road.
Jesse Marsch should clear his decks by getting rid of Junior Firpo, according to respondents, with an overwhelming 88% believing the left-back should quit the club this month.
There was also a clear call on Alfie McCalmont (69%), who has just left for Carlisle on loan, while Adam Forshaw’s injury-hampered campaign has failed to convince fans that the midfielder should extend his stay past the summer. In fact, 63% believe he should be sold off before the end of the month.
Mateusz Klich has already departed the club to join DC United in MLS. However, Leeds fans were split as to whether it was the right move, with 48% believing the club should have hung on to the 32-year-old.
Summer signing Rasmus Kristensen and academy graduate Cody Drameh have pushed Luke Ayling down the pecking order at Elland Road, leading to speculation the experienced right-back might depart this month.
However, 56% of respondents to our poll believe that would be a mistake.
Similarly, any talk of Jack Harrison being sold in the window would be met by dismay by the majority of Leeds fans, with 69% believing the club should do their utmost to hang on to him in January.
And despite an “uncomfortable” afternoon against Cardiff City at the weekend, the club’s decision to sign Pascal Struijk to a long-term contract has the overwhelming backing of the Leeds faithful. A massive 95% of them said the club should not sell the versatile Dutchman in this window.
