Kerry Express (Thailand) or KEX has won the "Marketeer No.1 Brand Thailand" award, ranking first for the fifth year in a row.
Prapat Siangjan, deputy chief executive of KEX, as a representative of the firm, received the award at the ceremony held at Chadra Ballroom, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok on Aug 4.
The award is a reflection of consumer confidence and trust in KEX's over-16-year-long service in Thailand.
Mr Prapat expressed gratitude for all of the votes cast by the consumer representatives across the country.
"With the highest score, we have once again won the No.1 spot of 'Marketeer No.1 Brand Thailand', and maintained our position as the country's most popular brand that keeps winning over Thai people's hearts," said Mr Prapat.
He said the score sheds light on the popularity of KEX's service offerings, which address the diverse needs of customers across all demographics, be it retail customers, online merchants, SMEs, social commerce or e-commerce.
Mr Prapat said that since the outbreak of Covid-19, KEX has been growing continuously. This can be attributed to consumers having adapted to and become more familiar with online shopping.
"This would not have been possible without an effective parcel delivery service to help connect the supply chain and build a strong delivery ecosystem. We pride ourselves on having been playing a seminal role in spurring business growth in all sectors, including retail and wholesale, which are paramount to propelling the Thai economy forward," he said.
"It is our portfolio of superior-quality parcel delivery services that encourages people to entrust their parcels to us, amid a slew of challenges concerning rising costs, particularly fuel costs, the primary cost of express delivery businesses, which in turn leads to the rising cost of personal consumption. Still, customers continue to have confidence and trust in our service."
The Marketeer No.1 Brand Thailand award is a survey based on consumers' brand preferences across all industries. The survey is conducted by Marketeer Group in collaboration with Kadence International (Thailand) and Marketing Moves.
