Kew Gardens' iconic Palm House is set to close for up to five years as part of a £60 million net-zero initiative, the Royal Botanic Gardens has announced.

The extensive renovations, encompassing the adjacent Waterlily House, aim to create the "first heritage net-zero glasshouses of their kind".
