Kevin McDonald says Dundee United debut tops Premier League promotion as emotional star thankful for 'new home'

Emotional Kevin McDonald has thanked the Dundee United fans for their patience with him as he made it through his first game in 19 months.

And the former Scotland cap has vowed to pay them back with his performances on the pitch now he has a new "home" at Tannadice.

McDonald hadn't played since July 2020 as he underwent a kidney transplant made possible by his brother Fraser.
