Comedian Kevin Hart has responded to recent criticisms from fellow comedian Katt Williams. Williams, 52, reignited their long-standing feud by questioning the authenticity of Hart's career success and criticizing the movie roles Hart chooses. During an interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, Hart, 44, addressed Williams' comments by stating that he views it as entertainment and wishes Williams well.
Hart expressed his contentment with his career and life, emphasizing that he is happy and secure in his choices. In contrast, Williams had previously claimed that Hart often took movie roles that were originally offered to him, insinuating that Hart avoided being in the same space as Williams out of fear.
Williams also referred to Hart as a 'gatekeeper' in the comedy industry, suggesting that Hart played a role in advancing the careers of other comedians like Tiffany Haddish. This is not the first time Williams has expressed resentment towards Hart and other successful comedians, as he previously criticized their rapid rise to fame in the entertainment industry.
In response to Williams' remarks, Hart maintained a positive outlook and expressed support for Williams from a distance. Despite the ongoing feud between the two comedians, Hart remains focused on his own career and personal fulfillment.
