Kevin De Bruyne delivers honest verdict on Arsenal's Premier League title challenge collapse

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has sent Arsenal and the rest of the Premier League a warning after his side won their fifth title in the last six years.

The Gunners had led the league for the majority of the season but ultimately dipped in form over the last two months, with City taking full advantage and they were crowned champions over the weekend after Mikel Arteta's side lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening. Now, De Bruyne has admitted that the Citizens will never get bored of winning.

“We like to win and we’re never bored of it," said the Belgian international. "We’ve won a lot in the past, but we want to win again and again.

"I’m sure the future will be the same. It’s incredible, to win three times in a row. It’s hard work, but we deserve it. The hunger is there, the mentality is good and it’s a good group.

"We just want to play good football. Pep makes sure the group stays hungry and the group is very humble."

De Bruyne also took the time to heap praise on Arsenal, hailing their early-season form that saw them acquire 50 points at the halfway point of the campaign. "The league doesn’t lie – we were the best," he added.

"Arsenal were incredible – especially in the first part of the season. In the end though, we deserved it. We came back and we've won a lot of games."
