The investigation into the murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal has pointed to an alleged conflict between a secret relationship and a marriage arranged by families, with police claiming that accused Siya Goyal's closeness to co-accused Chetan Chaudhary was known to some members of her family, as per a TOI report.
According to investigators, the Goyal family became aware of Siya's relationship with Chaudhary during a community cricket match in January. Police alleged that despite knowing about the relationship, the family proceeded with her engagement to Ketan Agarwal because of the financial difference between the two families.
