Kerry Katona slams parenting double standards as Jude Law 'becomes dad for seventh time'

Kerry Katona has suggested that there's a double standard when it comes to parenting, having shared her opinion that "men are treated differently to women" over it.

Her remark comes in response to reports that Jude Law, 50, has welcomed a seventh child. Him and wife Phillipa Coan, 35, have reportedly had a second child together.

The actor and his wife - who have been married since 2019 - already have a two-year-old child together. Jude also has five older children from previous romances.

Kerry, 42, has commented on the reports that he's expanded his family in a new column. The mother-of-five suggested that she has been treated differently to Jude.

Kerry has written about it in her latest column for New! magazine, which will be out tomorrow (February 28). Her comments have been reported by OK! magazine.

She wrote in her column: "Jude Law has reportedly become a father again, making him a dad-of-seven by four mums - I didn't even realise he had so many kids!

"It's lovely news, but I do think that men are treated differently to women. I doubt he would be labelled as a '7x4 dad', whereas I've received a lot of c**p for being a '5x3 mum' in the past."

Kerry further commented in her latest column that she is "proud of everything" she has done for her children.

The I'm A Celebrity winner shares her eldest two children with her ex-husband Brian McFadden, 42. The former couple are parents to daughters Molly, 21, and Lilly, 20.

Kerry has two children - Heidi, 15, and Maxwell, 14 - with her ex Mark Croft, 51. And the reality TV star also has a daughter Dylan-Jorge, eight, with her late ex George Kay.

Her remarks come after Jude and his wife Phillipa were said to have been spotted pushing a newborn baby in a pram whilst at Heathrow Airport in London recently.

Jude - whose credits include The Talented Mr. Ripley - shares his eldest three kids with ex-wife Sadie Frost, 57. The former couple are parents to Rafferty, 26, Iris, 22, Rudy, 20.

The actor - who has also starred in films like Alfie and The Holiday - shares daughter Sophia, 12, with Samantha Burke. And he shares daughter Ada, seven, with Catherine Harding.
