Kerry Katona has been seen breaking down in tears as she started a 'traumatic' new job. The former Atomic Kitten star has been forced to re-live her trauma while recording her new audiobook.
She shared how she managed to record six chapters of Whole Again, which was released last year, before she became too choked up to continue. The autobiography is a follow-up to her first tell-all memoir, Still Standing, which was released in 2012 and explores the challenging events Kerry has been through in the past decade.
Taking to Instagram with a video, Kerry showed the toll of remembering her life's events, such as facing bankruptcy and the death of her ex-husband George Kay. "Well, this has been a real, real..." the 42-year-old said before having to paused due to emotion she was feeling.

Managing to continue, she added: "I have managed to do six chapters." But Kerry paused again before trying to hold back her tears as she whispered: "It's been really tough. But I'm ready to go home and have a cry."
Kerry then pouted sadly before adding once more: "It's been really tough." Sharing the video to Instagram, she added in the caption: "6 chapters down!! 'Whole again' @audioalways."
And fans were quick to flood the post with their support. @megankayleighx said: "You’re so f*****g brave. You’ve got through every battle before and came out even stronger so you know you can definitely do this! Sending so much strength and love." @helyp72 wrote: "Well done you. You got this."
@cheryl.lloyd_73 shared: "You have got this. Look at where you have been to where you are now. You are inspiring others to hold their heads high and fight for what they deserve. The title of the audiobook is based on Kerry's most famous song Whole Again - and shows her journey to rebuild her life through the help of her now-fiance Ryan Mahoney and her five children.
Taking to her Instagram story before recording, Kerry also admitted: "I'm very very very very nervous!'" And in another post on Instagram, featuring a selfie as she travelled in a car, she said: "En route to record my audiobook 'whole again' praying for strength to get me through this!!! Just reading it all out loud and reliving it has already had me in tears this morning!!
"I know it's in the past but the trauma attached to it is still so heavy on my heart and I'm my gut!! Live isn't always rainbows and unicorns we have to deal with things we don't like! But got to stare this s*** in the face and be done with it!!!! If my book helps even just one person it's all been worth it!!! Have a blessed day people."
