Kerry Katona has admitted she doesn't think it's "gross" to leave three weeks in-between washing her hair.
The former Atomic Kitten star sparked a fierce debate as as she revealed how often she washes her hair. Kerry, a mum-of-five, spoke out in a OK! magazine column as she compared herself to new mum Stacey Solomon.
Kerry was defending the Loose Women panelist as Stacey admitted to going three weeks before washing her hair after giving birth to her fifth child, baby Belle. In the column, Kerry said: "Stacey Solomon has admitted to washing her hair for the first time since giving birth to her daughter Belle three weeks ago."

The singer went on to defend the lovable TV personality as she explained her own situation. Kerry, 42, said: "I’ve just had a new set of extensions put in, so probably won’t wash mine for a week or so. I’ve definitely gone as long as two weeks before. I just use dry shampoo and you can buy perfume for your hair, too."
She added: "'You're not actually meant to wash your hair too often because it gets rid of the natural oils. Maybe three weeks is a bit too long – Stacey could have probably fried an egg on it!
"But I don't think it's that gross. If your hair looks greasy, then you probably should do something about it, but otherwise, I don't think it's bad."
It's not the first time Kerry has stirred up controversy about her cleanliness habits. She previously admitted that she changes her bedding every fortnight.
Writing in her column, she said: "I live in a big house with a lot of kids, so it’s a hassle. Share the same bleeding towel, that’s what I say!
“It’s not good for the environment, or for your energy bills to keep washing them. It’s the same as bed sheets. I probably change my sheets every fortnight."
