Singer and reality TV star Kerry Katona has revealed that her eight-year-old daughter, DJ, collapsed in the “most terrifying” incident during a family holiday. Mum-of-five Kerry, 42, had taken her family to Turkey but during the trip, her youngest child became unwell.
Opening up about the ordeal, Kerry explained that she first became aware that her daughter was ill when she was brushing her hair. "On the last day, I was blow-drying our DJ’s hair and she collapsed, with her eyes rolling back. It was the most terrifying thing ever," she said.
"Ryan [Mahoney, Kerry’s fiance] picked her up and ran outside with her to get some fresh air, and she just sat there staring at me and throwing up. The hospital said her blood pressure had dropped as she was overheated and hungry."

OK! Magazine reports how Kerry added that DJ was so disorientated that she thought the former I’m A Celebrity star’s fiance was trying to “throw her off the balcony”. DJ appears to be doing okay now as she recently celebrated World Book Day, where she dressed up as Wednesday Addams.
The holiday, itself, had not been the best for Kerry as she also developed kidney stones during the trip. Kerry said that she initially thought the pain was "post-surgery problems" after her tummy tuck - revealing she was in "bed most of the time". The singer had a tummy tuck in January after admitting that her 'swollen belly' left her in tears.
Kerry’s daughter DJ (short for Dylan Jorge) is her child from her relationship with George Kay, who died of a drug overdose in 2017. Her other children are Molly, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 20, from her marriage to Brian McFadden. She also has Heidi Elizabeth Croft, 16, and Max, 14, from her marriage to Mark Croft.
