Kerry Katona 'highly doubts' she will be Katie Price 's bridesmaid when the former glamour model ties the knot with Carl Woods.
The mum-of-five, 42, says people are very wrong when they think she and Katie 'are like bosom buddies' and reveals she has never even met her pal's future husband Carl, as she dishes the dirt on what she knows about the happy couple's upcoming nuptials.
Kerry and Katie were once close pals thanks to their stint on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! in 2004, with the former Atomic Kitten singer even serving as one of Katie's bridesmaids when she married fellow campmate Peter Andre, but the two stars famously fell out in 2007.
The stars drifted apart when Katie took issue with Kerry's then-husband Mark Croft and the one-time Queen of the Jungle's decision to join the same PR firm as her ex-husband Peter - just one year on from the former couple's infamous split after welcoming children Junior and Princess Andre into the world together.
Kerry and Katie eventually put their differences aside thanks to their respective children forming firm friendships, with a source claiming in 2017: "Kerry and Katie drifted apart after their time in the jungle but have always kept in touch in a very loose way."
As Katie prepares to tie the knot with Carl - recently dropping a huge hint she and the car salesman are ready to walk down the aisle - many have been wondering if Kerry will be acting as Katie's bridesmaids as the star marries for the fourth time.
But Kerry shot down the rumours when asked if she will be donning a bridesmaid dress in the near future, saying: "I highly doubt it - I wish her all the best - but I've never met Carl. People have this impression that me and Katie are like bosom buddies, I live up north she lives down south."
Speaking with the Daily Star, the mum-of-five added: "I have no idea what goes in her life. We may send the odd text every now and then but that's about it."
Last year, Kerry revealed how she speaks to Katie's teenage daughter Princess more than the star herself, due to daughter Heidi's close friendship with the celebrity offspring.
"They've been best friends for years because me and Kate were both pregnant at the same time with them," Kerry wrote in her new! magazine column in March 2021.
"I find it hard to get in touch with Katie - she's a nightmare to get hold of."
Writing in her latest memoir, Whole Again, Kerry recalled how Katie left her furious when the former glamour model dropped an almighty bombshell on the morning of her wedding to former rugby player George Kay in 2014.
The former singer was set to tie the knot with Katie supposed to play a crucial role in the ceremony as one of her bridesmaids but, on the morning of the wedding, Katie dropped the news that she would no longer be a part of the bridal party and instead, was attending the ceremony as a guest.
