Kerry Katona has candidly opened up about her recent weight gain, revealing that she's now the heaviest she's ever been while not pregnant.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 43, who has been incredibly honest and open about her fluctuating weight down through the years, also said that she was left feeling 'swollen' after undergoing a tummy tuck.
In Kerry's recent tell-all book, namely, Whole Again: Love, Life, and Me, the singer and TV star said that she never recovered from having the tummy tuck, revealing that the surgery has left her feeling swollen and with a permanent lump on her stomach.
She pens: "I have never been like this, this is the biggest I have ever been naturally without being pregnant
"I had my secret tummy tuck and I’ve never recovered properly. It hasn’t healed and I have a lump there now.
"It is all swollen. I am having that sorted next year," she adds in her latest book.
The Whole Again hit-maker also insisted that the procedure was the 'worst thing she's ever done' as she warned fans against undergoing procedures without a lot of thought behind it.
Speaking of the surgery, which involves removing excess tissue and tightening the abdominal muscles, Kerry explained: 'It’s my own fault. It wasn’t a botched job or anything like that. I didn’t let my body recover and rather than resting, I moved house."
"As much as I champion people to be comfortable in their own skin, I know it can be hard," she recently told OK! Magazine.
"As I’ve got older, I’ve started to embrace it. I’m not 21 anymore and it’s normal for your body to change."
The mum of five said she’d put on a "s**tload of weight", but added: "But that’s normal and I am just embracing it.
"I know I don’t look the greatest, but it is what it is." Kerry continued: "Naturally, my body is going to change. I’ll do everything in my power to stop it from changing drastically but it’s harder to keep your body at my age. I’m embracing it."
Although Kerry is accepting of her body and the changes ageing brings, she has not ruled out the odd 'tweak' along the way.
'I’m also thinking about getting an eye lift. I don’t see the problem in chasing your youth and trying to look your best," she told.
