Kerry Katona reacts to Phil Schofield affair and reflects on This Morning chat that left her suicidal

Kerry Katona has broken her silence on the ongoing Phillip Schofield saga after his huge affair admission. Kerry, 42, discussed the 61-year-old's romance with a younger ITV employee and shared her views on This Morning after an infamous 2008 interview on the show left her feeling suicidal.

The former Atomic Kitten singer had appeared on the show and was interviewed by Phillip, who at the time accused her of "slurring" her words during the appearance, as reported by The Mirror. Phil, who was co-hosting This Morning alongside Fern Britton at the time, asked Kerry: "Your speech is a bit slurred, how are you feeling right now? Our phone is already going off up in the gallery from people asking is she ok.

"We are merely pointing out someone who is very different from a few years ago." Amid the fallout of Phillip's affair admission and claims of a toxic atmosphere around the ITV show, she has now reflected on the interview, telling GB News: "I don't think people understand what that interview did to me emotionally.
