Kerry Katona looks quite different in her latest pantomime role, with some of her fans having not even recognised her when she debuted a new hairstyle less than two weeks ago.
The performer, 42 - who has appeared in various pantos over the course of her career - is currently touring the UK as part of a theatre production of fairytale Rapunzel.
She's playing the Mother Gothel in the show, which launched in Northwich last month and has since visited Clacton-on-Sea, Middlesbrough, Ellesmere Port and Chesterfield.
Kerry ditches her blonde hair for the villainous role, with her instead performing as the character in a dark wig. She debuted the look recently on her Instagram account.
Fans suggested at the time that they didn't recognise her in the wig. Some said they had mistaken her for Emmerdale character Chas Dingle, who's played by Lucy Pargeter.
"First look I thought it was Chas from Emmerdale," said one follower. Another wrote: "I thought it was Chas". A third said: "Omg I thought it was Chas off Emmerdale".
Whilst others were complimentary over the look, with one person writing at the time: "The colour suits you". Another follower said: "Dark hair suits you and you look younger".
Kerry isn't the only celebrity in the show, as she's starring alongside the likes of former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney. He's been cast in the panto as the Prince.
The cast also includes Joanne Clifton, who is best known for having been a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing. She's playing the titular role in the production.
Kerry took to her Instagram Story earlier this afternoon to give her followers a glimpse of rehearsals for the latest performances of the Rapunzel pantomime production.
She shared footage on the platform which showed her taking part in a vocal warm-up ahead of a show alongside some of her co-stars, including professional dancer Joanne.
The cast of Rapunzel have been in Doncaster today (April 6) and will perform at the Cast theatre tonight. They will subsequently head to Oldham and Rhyl later this week.
The production will visit Whitley Bay, Tewkesbury, Cannock, Redditch and Grimsby next week. Future locations on the tour include Blackpool, Darlington and Runcorn.
