Kerry Katona has asked fans for prayers as she revealed her mum Sue has suffered a heart attack.
The TV star, 41, spoke of her agony as her mum remains in hospital but she is unable to see her as she continues her run of pantomime shows.
Taking to Instagram, an emotional Kerry spoke out to fans in a video as she said: "Just letting you know for those who aren't aware, my mum suffered a heart attack on Thursday.
"She is in hospital as we speak, but she wanted me to let you know she is doing OK. She's in the best place for her.
"I'm in the middle of a tour at the moment so I can't even go and see her right now,' sighed Kerry.
She went on to describe the incident as a 'big scare.'
"Big scare. Huge... huge scare and we're all a little bit shook up by it. But she's in hospital, she's in the right place and all the kids are going to see her today with Ryan [Kerry's fiance]."
Opening up about her work predicament, Kerry explained: "I've got two shows and then another two shows to do tomorrow. It's been great fun this panto but I can't wait to get home and see my mum."
Kerry has been starring as the evil queen in Sleeping Beauty.
The actress said her mum has had multiple heart attacks in the past and she was hoping to get her back into good health.
The star said she went straight to her mum's house when the attack happened but she wasn't allowed to follow her to hospital or see her again before heading back to the pantomime.
"Everyone say lots of prayers to keep her safe. And I will see you soon mum," Kerry pledged as she signed off.
The mum was soon inundated with supportive messages from her fans.
"Speedy recovery to your Mum, Kerry, and lots of prayers and healing thoughts to you Sue! Stay strong,' said one.
"Sorry too hear about your mammy my prayers and thoughts are with you honey," added another.
Kerry revealed last year she was moving to be closer to her mum Sue due to her health problems.
The pair have not always had such a close bond after Kerry revealed that she had given her daughter Speed when she was just 14-years-old.
Speaking about her unconventional relationship with her mother, Kerry has previously explained: "I was the mum and my mum was the daughter. I always looked after my mum. There was something inside of me from such a really young age.
"This is why I won't change anything from my past. I always say to my mum, "Own it", which is what I've done. I've made mistakes in my life, luckily enough my children have never witnessed anything.
"But I'll own my mistakes. And that's what so many people don't do. I'm not going to play a victim, I'm a survivor. I will take responsibility for what has happened because no-one forced me to do anything and it went out of control.
" I have to take some kind of responsibility, own it, learn from it and move on. And going through what I've gone through - what both of us have gone through - more so for myself - it's made me who I am today. I'm not saying it was right what happened."
