Kerry Katona has apologised after she was criticised by fans for posting a fake pregnancy announcement for April Fools' Day. The former Atomic Kitten singer posted a picture of an ultrasound on Instagram in an April Fools' Day joke.
As reported by the Mirror, she had edited the caption and said 'knew you lot wouldn't ****** believe me' before deleting the post. Fans were furious about the post, with some called her 'insensitive' for the fake ultrasound post.
One follower commented: "Kerry Katona faking a pregnancy, weird and insensitive behaviour." Another added: "Kerry Katona faking pregnancy for April fools then deleting it is just f***ing weird."

"Kerry Katona already showing she’s an insensitive dumb *** with a fake pregnancy announcement," one complained. "Pretending to be pregnant will NEVER be funny."
According to her spokesman, the star wasn't meant to post the picture to her public account. The spokesman for Kerry said: "It was an April Fools' joke for her fiancé Ryan but she posted it to her public account and not her private one with very close friends by accident.
"Kerry herself cannot have any more children due to medical issues and has openly spoken about this in the past. She sincerely apologises to anyone who is offended and would never post anything to purposely upset anyone.”
Kerry is already a mum to Lilly-Sue, 19, Molly, 20, Heidi, 15, and Dylan-Jorge, seven, and son Max, 13. Her daughter Lily previously discussed the idea of her mum having another baby after Kerry talked about adoptions.
She spoke to OK! Magazine and was asked about the idea of becoming an older sister again. When asked what she thought of her mum and fiancé Ryan Mahoney having a baby, she admitted: "Not too keen!"
She went: "I love my mum to bits and she’s a great mother but I need the pocket money. You know what, I’d love Mum and Ryan to have a baby but at the minute, they have a dog and that’s enough for now."
Kerry had previously said she would consider adoption. "I think if we did have another baby, we would go down the surrogacy route, but we’re trying to build an empire," the singer said.
"I have five children, we’ve got dogs, I’m so busy and I go away quite a lot of the time. I’m 41, maybe we would adopt. I don’t know but I just can’t see myself being pregnant again."
