Kerala: Deepu died of head injuries, says autopsy report

KOCHI: The autopsy report of Deepu CK – the dalit leader of Twenty20 Kizhakkambalam who died at a hospital on Feb 18 after being allegedly assaulted by CPM workers on Feb 12 – confirmed that the 38-year-old man died of head injuries.

The report stated that contusions were found behind his right ear at the back of his head. The autopsy was conducted by associate professor and deputy police surgeon BK Jameskutty and assistant professor and assistant police surgeon Jomon Jacob at Kottayam Medical College.
